New book with Chap Clark Released!

After Chap’s 2004 book, “Hurt: Inside the World of Today’s Teenagers,” sold nearly 50,000 copies for Baker Academic, the folks in Baker’s trade division expressed interest in a new version of the book that would be more accessible and practical for youth workers, teachers and parents. The result is “When Kids Hurt: Help for Adults Navigating the Adolescent Maze.”

Kids in Crisis

The March/April issue of YouthWorker Journal focused on how to help kids in crisis. The issue addressed the 10th anniversary of the killings at Columbine High School as well as teen suicide, date rape and grief.
